Finds

My weekly jaunt to the thrift store plus Saturday morning yard sales yielded a few nice things.

HALSTON ULTRA-SUEDE
70’s perhaps? I’ve never had Halston before.

SILK BLAZAR
Beautiful nubbly 100% silk with Abalone button. Such a classic colour. Roll up the sleeves, wear it unbuttoned, and tada….a boyfriend blazar.
AN ITALIAN HANDBAG
Great colour-blocking in the four shades that pretty much comprise my wardrobe. By Arcadia
BOOKS
Two passions: food and fashion
SEWING PATTERNS
Classic styles both old & new

FABRIC
Irresistible feminine rosettes and the very modern alphabet
SCARVES
A gossamer nylon scarf like our mothers used to wear in the wind to save their weekly updo, or for driving a convertible ala Grace Kelly. Plus a geometric silk by Frank Lloyd Wright.

Love this post! When I find some vintage stuff, I usually google their brands :)) Let me say that the suede coat is an amazing find! I also loved the books 🙂 You inspired me to check local vintage markets now 🙂
