Women-of-a certain age are certainly busy these days.
Along with Maye and Isabella and a host of other ambitious beauties, 88 year old Nathalie Kay Tippi Hedren, stars in the latest Gucci campaign, The Fortune Teller, showcasing its new timepieces and jewellery.
The American actress is celebrated for her work with director Alfred Hitchcock in The Birds (1963) and Marnie (1964),
and found fame as a fashion model in the 1950s.
Tippi Hedren is also famously the matriarch of a family of actresses—her daughter is Melanie Griffith and her grand-daughter is Dakota Johnson.
In the 90-second Gucci video, Hedren plays a mystic in an eccentric palm-reading joint on the strip. Above the music it is her voice we hear, and her remarkably beautiful hands that we see attired with glorious jewels and dramatically draped over a crystal ball.
Several Gucci-clad young seekers (played by Victoria Schons, Emily Unkles, Tom Atton Moore and Tex Santos-Shaw) also wearing the new watches and jewellery, engage in some enigmatic communication with Hedren, who concludes by forecasting, All of your dreams will come true.
The colourful and ornate collection includes the G-Frame watch, Le Marché des Merveilles rings, and Double G Chevalier ring
