So No

There are some recipes you know you will never cook.

Since receiving it for Christmas, I’ve been browsing through the massive (929 pages) cookbook of French cuisine, I Know How To Cook, and came across one such entry.

You see, we have a piglet. Miss Piglet, actually.

She’s sassy, and outspoken, and refuses to be packed in a box of cherished, but long-out-grown children’s toys, and we love her.

I wrote about her 2 years ago in the early days of this blog. (See: Miss Piglet).

So we shall pass over this recipe.

Needless to say, with Miss Piglet around,

it won’t be silently.

    Dear Susan,
    This is so sweet!
We don’t have a piglet but a little velvet dog caIled Maurice whose comments always make my twelve years old Max forget all his grown up attitudes.
    Love it!
Best regards from the Rhine Valley not too far away where the beautiful German Riesling comes from

      Dear Katherine,
      Thanks for your lovely comment.
I have a Max, too! He is fourteen, but still pays attention to Piglet.
Have a glass of Riesling for me!
Can you send a photo of Maurice?
