Skin Treats

I’ve added something new to my skincare routine: Pixi Glow Tonic.

For some unknown reason, I had not been using a toner (? ! ), so when skin guru Caroline Hirrons highly recommended this one, I took notice. Actually, she is not the only one to rave about this product which has achieved something of cult-beauty status.

Since I live in Canada, now sans Target, I had to order it online because it is not available here (but soonsee below). I use it twice a day after cleansing. This is a 5% glycolic-acid toner which is formulated to exfoliate, brighten, and smooth the skin. And Yes, Yes, Yes, it does. It isn’t oily, it isn’t drying. I noticed a difference when I starting using it: It improves the texture of the skin so that serums and moisturisers work better and makeup looks better. The formula is alcohol free and contains witch hazel, aloe vera, and ginseng. It lives up to its hype and does indeed make my skin glow.

So since I was ordering anyway, I added the Pixi Cleansing Balm to the box.

Rich and luxuriously textured, this balm-to-oil cleanser melts away makeup & impurities for clear, glowing skin. It deep cleanses as it nourishes with added sweet almond oil, shea butter, and vitamin E. Leaves complexion feeling plumped & nourished.

Removed with a warm muslin cloth (ditch the facecloth, these are THE BEST), it is a relaxing way to clean your face at the end of the day.

Two great treats for skin.

Good news! Pixi will be available in Canada starting January 2017 at Shoppers Drug Mart, and from their online site Beauty Boutique.
