Bold Berry

Nothing signals autumn better than brilliant lipwear. However, dark lip colours can be tricky—dramatic shades that look dazzling in the tube, do not always transpose to a flattering or wearable hue once on the lips.

But here is an oh-so-right blackcurrant colour for autumn/winter: Glastonberry from the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution range.

It’s a deep, rich, purplish-berry tone and even though it’s a matte, it’s somehow also a sheer with a satiny finish and a hint of shimmer. This creates a unique, multi-dimensional colour that is really rather exquisite. It is this luminous lightness that allows Glastonberry to work for fair, as well as dark, complexions.

The coverage is buildable so the intensity is up to you. Applied lightly or with a lipbrush, it’s a stain; a swipe from the bullet creates more definition; and a couple of coats is a fashion and beauty statement.

Glastonberry applies like a dream and is long-lasting and hydrating. It doesn’t bleed or settle into lip lines. CT calls it a modern matte.

  • Lipstick Tree & Orchid extract softens, protects and hydrates lips for younger-looking, healthy lips.
  • 3D glowing pigments create the illusion lit-from-within lips that appear wider and fuller.
  • Triglycerides mixed with a perfect blend of oils and waxes glides long-lasting colour onto the lips.
  • Revolutionary, square, angled tip mimics the shape of a lip brush for precision application.

I’ve got five colours in the Matte Revolution collection: Bond Girl, Love Liberty, Very Victoria, Red Carpet Red, and now, Glastonberry.

It’s quite the revolution.
