Ah, the week-end; with a Gin & Tonic amidst the green.
Not warm enough for the deck (yet), but Spring has burst into full bloom all around.
My favourite gin, Ampersand, made just down the road at the family-owned and -operated Ampersand Distillery, just took top honours in the gin and vodka categories at BC Distilled 2016 festival. Add that to a silver medal at the 2015 San Francisco World Spirits Competition and a Local Beverage of the Year 2015 award from Eat magazine to the accolades and consumer enthusiasm for their craft spirits. No surprise to me; it is just fantastic.
